More and More Well-known Brands Getting Into Blockchain Technology

After a flood of house brands like Snickers, Milky Way, Axe, Slim Jim, Burger King, Oscar Mayer and others have already jumped on board, Budweiser brand beer is now officially getting into blockchain technology.
The Anheuser-Busch Budweiser brand jumped into the NFT game by purchasing NFT on Opensea for 8 Ether ($25.7K). In addition, Budweiser also owns the domain name "beer. eth" after the company bought the title for 30 Ether ($96 thousand).

In addition to purchasing the items, Budweiser USA on Tuesday changed its Twitter profile picture to an image of a rocket ship designed by NFT artist Tom Sachs. The NFT image is a rocket with a wick, decorated with a bunch of Budweiser labels. It also features Sachs' signature and says "rocket factory: the perfect rocket".

EA Sports, a division of video game giant Electronic Arts, is seeking to hire a cryptocurrency-savvy senior director of brand for its competitive gaming division, according to a recent job posting on LinkedIn.
The company is exploring opportunities in blockchain and non-fungible tokens (NFTs): We set the pace for EA’s investment in gaming subscriptions, our PC storefront and platform, competitive gaming (including FIFA , Apex Legends, and Madden NFL ), as well as new business opportunities, including fantasy sports, blockchain and NFTs, and more.

Whoever gets the job will be responsible for hiring a team of brand directors for games like FIFA and Apex Legends, as well as managing EA's marketing budget.

Last week, Ryan Wyatt, head of gaming at YouTube, tweeted that he was bullish on NFTs, Amazon and Walmart are also looking for cryptocurrency experts.
